After madcow I would transition to the texas method until that stalled. My plan is to do stronglifts then madcow. Well my goals are just general strength I have no plans to compete or anything like that but I was just trying to set up my plan of attack. Then I was looking at the advanced madcow or a heavy medium light split perhaps starting with the former then transition to the latter. Run it once, and if you're happy with the results continue running it and maybe then you can make slight modifications based on what your goals are. If you truly believe in the program, you have to have faith that it's going to work. You should try to do the program basically as written first in my opinion. It's hard to say without knowing your training background, what your goals are but.I wouldn't recommend doing the two weeks loading/two weeks peaking. You can definitely extend a program if it's working for you.
